We didn’t have a reservation but since we got there when they opened they were able to accommodate us. We sat inside but could still see the mountain view. We started with their appetizer bread which was delicious. I had a fresh tasty salad and my husband had the Roasted Poblano Pepper which he raved about. Service is polite and professional and the atmosphere was above average.

Went to stone house for dinner while at Bryce. It could not have been a better experience! We were greeted & seated immediately. Our order was taken and provided quickly and professionally. The food was presented well and most of all, it was delicious! We all enjoyed the sirloin and all four of us commented that this was one of the best meals ever… and I didn’t mention the wonderful setting with the beauty of the scenery – all in all, a wonderful evening. Keep in mind that all this enjoyment comes with a price – a bit expensive but…

We started with the bread/radishes and shared a large portion with our friends at the next table. The mixed greens salad reflected a home garden as the lettuce and berries appeared to be freshly picked. My husband had the braised Duck and Scallops, I had the New York Strip which I shared with him as well. All of it perfectly cooked. Dessert- Smores Panna Cotta- chocolate Panna Cotta on top of graham cracker crumbs with homemade roasted marshmallows on top- exceptional. Make reservations!

Lovely dining experience from the time you are seated. Beautiful views and the creativity of the chef is a joy. We began with a unique Caprese Salad with homemade mozzarella cheese and fresh tomatoes lying in a lovely light, slightly lemony sauce. Followed with rib eye steaks that were exceptional both in flavor and tenderness. Make this a definite stop when near Bryce Canyon.

We were staying outside Bryce Canyon and looking for some fine dining. There is not a lot of choice but Stone Hearth would have been worth traveling even further in order to enjoy their excellent food. I had the New York strip steak and my wife had the ribeye. Both were excellent. We followed this up with an outstanding cheesecake with blueberry compote. Definitely worth a visit.

We were visiting Bryce National park but were staying in Tropic. While searching for a place to dine we found Stone Hearth Grill and we were lucky to get one of the two reservations available. The location is in a beautiful setting on a dead end road. April, one of the owners, greeted us warmly and seated us. Amy our server was great and had great recommendations. The onion soup, beet ravioli, and salad were wonderful The ribeye steaks were outstanding with great mashed potatoes. They special in steaks but the grilled halibut was also delicious!
